Adjusting controls in the car whilst driving

Make sure that you adjust seat positions, climate controls, CDs etc. either before your start your journey or while the vehicle is stationary. 

 

By making sure that you know how all of your controls work, if you do have to adjust something while you are driving, it causes minimum distraction and you are less likely to cause a crash.

 

Never programme your destination into a satellite navigation system while you are driving – this should be done before you start your journey.

 

And remember, mirrors in the car are for driving, not for personal grooming!
