Our objectives

The Road Safety Partnership formed in 2004, launched the 95 Alive campaign, which aimed to save 95 lives between 2005 and the end of 2010. The campaign officially ended on 31st March 2011 by which time 126 lives had been saved.

In view of the success of the campaign in exceeding its targets and the great value all the partners gained from working together to reduce road casualties, the partnership has decided to continue working together and to aim to continue to reduce casualties and collisions year on year throughout North Yorkshire and the City of York
