Using the road

Road crashes are the leading cause of death of people aged between 10 and 25.

Many teenagers are involved in road crashes because they take risks on the roads.
  • One in four cross at traffic lights without waiting for the green man.
  • One in four mess around in the street.
  • One in four chat on their mobile while crossing the road.
  • One in five text on their mobile phone while crossing the road.
 
Don’t risk your life by messing around near roads, it really isn’t worth it. If your mates are messing around and being silly near the roads then tell them how stupid they are or walk away and leave them to it.
