Two boys, aged 12 and 13, have been arrested after a car they are suspected to have stolen crashed and injured a six-year-old girl.
Both boys were detained after the vehicle hit a tree at about 4.40pm on Thursday in Croftmeadow Court, Northampton.
The little girl, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to Northampton General Hospital with minor injuries.
The boys were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop.
