A conference focusing on light commercial vehicle safety takes place on Wednesday (22 June), with a limited number of delegate places still available.

The free-to-attend conference, organised by National Highways and Driving for Better Business, is being held at Mercedes Benz World at Brooklands in Surrey.

The conference is titled Light Commercial Vehicle Safety: The Challenges & Opportunities, and uses the strapline ‘Improving your business through active road risk management’.

Although the primary audience for the conference is light commercial fleet operators, road safety professionals with an interest in the topic are welcome to attend – click here to register.

The agenda is virtually complete and includes speakers from National Highways, Driving for Better Business, DVSA, Road Haulage Association, HSE, Thatcham Research and a number of commercial fleet operators.

There will also be a session focusing on driver health and wellbeing, driver fatigue and the importance of sleep.

As previously mentioned, the conference is free to attend. However, the number of places still available is very limited and these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis – so anyone wishing to attend is encouraged to book as soon as possible.
